    Usually the duplicate order error is only getting when the prefix matches another similar ID. Can you try to update the invoicing prefix and then try again. Also, you might be getting an error code while performing the action can you share complete error with me as well?
    Also, with which payment gateway you are seeing this situation?? And you have logging enabled for that? Can you look at the logs, get error details and share those with me here?

    Hi Oliver,

    Changing the invoicing prefix does allow us to run the payment successfully the second time, though this probably isn’t a viable solution for us long-term.

    The payment gateway we are using is PayPal Payments Pro 2.0 (PayFlow). We do have logging enabled, and will send the error logs to you directly. Please let me know if I can provide any other information.
